Background
Born in Nagoya, Japan. After earning a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Chiba University and working as a systems engineer and freelancer, Ken Murata founded SonicJam Inc. in 2001, producing and creative-directing a wide range of digital projects. In 2021 he created Pipit Gacha, a patented QR-powered IoT capsule-toy machine. He stepped down as CEO of SonicJam in December 2024 and founded Gary & Kenny Inc. in 2025.
